STUDY VISITS:
Villa 31 at the Barrio Retiro. One of the largest illegal settlements in the city (about 120 000 inhabitants), and the most emblematic, because of its strategic location (along the main transshipment center passenger in the capital). Important clusters of Bolivians can be found in this area, as well as mix with Paraguayans and Peruvians.
Bolivian Fairy, at Flores neighborhood & Liniers (Bolivian neighbourhood). The Bolivian immigration locates mainly in the Southern side of BA and has created its own landscapes. The Bolivians organize a very well known fairy at Barrio Flores, a kind of open-air shopping where everything is Bolivian; the commercial embodiment resembles nothing in the landscape and content.
Chinatown (Barrio Belgrano)
