il webinar sarà introdotto da Michela Semprebon che presenterà una delle pubblicazioni frutto della ricerca svolta nell’ambito dell’Azione INSigHT: “The Rehabilitation and Reintegration of Nigerian Women Returnees”. In particolare, Michela spiegherà come funzionano i diversi sistemi di rientro verso la Nigeria (i cosiddetti ritorno volontario e assistito, rimpatrio forzato, ritorno facilitato) e gli impatti che hanno sulle donne nigeriane, comprese le molteplici violazioni dei diritti umani che subiscono. Oluwafemi Abe Moses, che ha svolto la ricerca, come parte del Team INSigHT, a Lagos e Benin City, farà una panoramica dei cosiddetti programmi di riabilitazione e reinserimento in Nigeria, evidenziando i passi avanti e le criticità, portando il punto di vista degli attori rilevanti. Michela intervisterà poi Sine Plambech rispetto alla esperienza di antropologa e regista e dialogherà con lei rispetto ai molteplici movimenti e alle traiettorie che hanno caratterizzato le vite delle donne nigeriane che ha incontrato, andando oltre i concetti di trafficking e re-trafficking e mettendo in luce la complessità e le trasformazioni dei movimenti migratori verso l’Europa e di rientro verso la Nigeria, dal punto di vista delle protagoniste.  the webinar will be introduced by Michela Semprebon who will present one of the publications resulting from the research carried out in the context of the INSigHT Action: “The Rehabilitation and Reintegration of Nigerian Women Returnees”. ”. In particular, Michela will explain how the different systems of returns to Nigeria function (the so-called voluntary and assisted return, forced return, facilitate return) and impacts they have on Nigerian women, including multiple human rights violations. Oluwafemi Abe Moses, that undertook research, as part of the INSigHT Team, in Lagos and Benin City, will give an overview of the so-called programmes of rehabilitation and reintegration in Nigeria, while pointing out the steps forward and the pending critical issues, as reported by the relevant stakeholders. Michela will then interview Sine Plambech on her experience as anthropologist and film director and discuss with her on the multiple movements she has witnessed in the lives of Nigerian women, going beyond the concepts of trafficking and re-trafficking while also highlighting the transformations of migration movements to Europe and back to Nigeria, from the point of view of the protagonists of these movements. The INSigHT Action has the main aim to increase the capacity of key local stakeholders in the Veneto Region (Italy), Edo State and Lagos (Nigeria) and Stockholm (Sweden) to tackle human trafficking and to deal with its evolving dynamics, trends, forms and modus operandi, with specific attention to women and girls, while promoting knowledge-based policy making in the respective countries and reinforcing transnational cooperation. This series of webinars has the main goal of sharing the findings that have been emerging from the research conducted by the INSigHT Action Research Team and to continue contributing to the debate in collaboration with researchers, operators, law enforcement agencies, lawyers, policy-makers, cultural-linguistic operators and all relevant actors.
